Richard P. Bennett, Chief Executive Officer
As CEO of ImServices, Bennett brings over 30 years of technology and auditing experience to ImServices. Bennett is an integral part of the Industry’s effort in the area of measurement standardization. He is a member of several Interactive Advertising Bureau (IAB) measurement task force committees and he sits on the Interactive (Internet) and Print Committees for the Advertising Research Foundation (ARF).
Prior to creating ImServices, Bennett was one of the co-founders of ABC Interactive (ABCi), one of two new services he helped to establish while at the Audit Bureau of Circulations (ABC). At ABCi, Bennett managed the auditing function, designing audits for notable customers such as Yahoo! and AOL. In addition, he directed ABCi’s ongoing involvement in the development of industry standards. He authored three influential white papers on measurement issues, considered essential to the standards making process. His industry efforts and leadership earned him recognition from publications such as Computerworld and Crain’s Chicago Business.
Prior to starting ABCi, Bennett was responsible for overseeing all auditing operations at ABC. He was on of the co-founders of ABC’s Readership Audit service focused on the auditing of readership studies for print media. He introduced information systems audit procedures at ABC, allowing for efficient audits of large client computer systems. He also designed and managed the implementation of numerous computer applications to modernize the organization’s business processes.
Before joining ABC, he created the information systems audit function at Commonwealth Edison, designing a range of audits for various aspects of the business from operating system and security reviews to full-scale application audits.
Bennett graduated from the University of Illinois with a bachelor's degree in finance, and earned an MBA from DePaul University.
Steve A. Guenther, Vice President, Auditing
As VP, Auditing, Guenther brings over 20 years of auditing experience in a “media environment” and has been a leading pioneer in the auditing of Internet activity dating back to 1996. Guenther oversees the audit team on a daily basis and provides guidance and support for the majority of engagements performed by ImServices. Guenther also supervises the maintenance of the IAB /ABCe International Spider & Bots list for the Industry.
Prior to joining ImServices, Guenther was the Director, Interactive Auditing, for ABC Interactive (ABCi). At ABCi, he managed the start up of the newly created audit department and was responsible for the development of detailed audit programs to ensure the timely delivery of audit services for more than 200 clients, including Yahoo!, AOL, CNET and DoubleClick. His efforts in this area lead to the creation of the ABCi/IAB Spiders and Robots database, which is now maintained by ImServices. Recognizing his outstanding accomplishments, Guenther received the prestigious M. David Keil award in 2000.
Prior to joining ABCi, Guenther served as the manager of field auditing/newspapers at the Audit Bureau of Circulations (ABC), where he was responsible for the completion of over 1,500 newspaper audits in North America. Guenther started his career with ABC as a field auditor and conducted several Major Metropolitan audits, including competitive audits in Houston, San Antonio, and Trenton, NJ.
Guenther graduated from Iowa State University with a bachelor's degree in accounting. He is a Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) and a member of the Chicago Chapter of the Information Systems, Audit, & Control Association (ISACA).
Todd A. Martens, Vice President, Technology
As VP, Technology Martens brings over 15 years of technology and auditing experience to ImServices. Martens is responsible for ImServices’ information technology department. In addition, he provides various services to several clients including, Yahoo!, MSN, Dynamic Logic, ManiaTV, 180 Solutions/Zango and Blue Lithium. Martens provides technical expertise and assistance on all services provided by ImServices.
Prior to joining ImServices, Martens was a Systems Analyst for ABC Interactive (ABCi), where he was responsible for managing the company’s computer network and all aspects of processing client data.
Martens began his career as a field auditor at the Audit Bureau of Circulations (ABC), with notable assignments as the Lead Auditor at Reader’s Digest, ABC’s largest periodical audit, and supervised part of the audit staff at Neo Data, one of the largest periodical Fulfillment Centers in the U.S., located in Boulder, Colorado. Martens received the prestigious Richard W. Deneen Auditing Award in 1995 before moving to ABC’s data processing department.

Alvin, Director, Audit Services
As Director, Audit Services, Alvin brings over 10 years experience in web analytics, design, reporting and auditing to ImServices. He directs and assists in various client engagements from consultation projects to attestation audit assignments.
At ImServices he developed a data analysis program to surface anomalous data patterns. The program helps minimize audit risk and facilitates effective and comprehensive assessment of audit data.
Prior to joining ImServices, Alvin was a Senior Web Metrics Consultant at Deloitte where he was responsible for the company’s Global Office of Information Management web analytics effort. He also held a comparable role at Allstate Insurance Company where he co-managed the company’s web analytics team.
In 1998, Alvin began his career with ABC Interactive (ABCi) and served in various IT audit roles ranging from Web Auditor, IT Audit Manager and Manager of Special Projects. He was responsible for the western region audit clients, which included notable clients such as Yahoo!, ChicagoTribune.com, and CNET.com to name a few. At ABCi he developed a standard audit documentation package to facilitate the creation of high quality audit work papers. He also provided technical support to auditors and the Director of Special projects.
Alvin graduated from Indiana University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting and Finance, and a Master of Science degree in E-Commerce Technology from DePaul University. He is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) and a member of the Chicago Chapter of the Information Systems, Audit, & Control Association (ISACA).
